Five checks worth running before you buy anything online. None of them take long, and together they catch most of the problems that turn a good deal into a regret.
- Check the final price. The headline number is rarely the full story — look for fees, delivery and any minimum spend before you decide.
- Check the seller. Look for recent reviews outside the store itself, and confirm who is actually fulfilling the order.
- Check the return window. A generous returns policy changes the maths on anything you are unsure about.
- Check the warranty. Confirm what is covered, for how long, and who you would contact if something went wrong.
- Check the alternatives. Two minutes of comparison shopping is usually enough to know whether you have found a genuinely good price.
None of this is complicated. It is just a habit — and it is the same habit we use when we put together our own guides on SaveMeStacks.
